From the time I was old enough to hold a crayon, I've had a love for color. This passion has guided and inspired me throughout my training in college, founding two of my own businesses, as well as an outlet for bold, meditative and illuminating self-expression alike.

My true joy comes through plein air painting as a free, impressionistic view of both my surroundings and what my mind's eye can conceive. Splashes of color focus attention on the happiness found in life’s small moments and details that are often overlooked.

I invite you to explore the fascinating backstory behind each of my works and enjoy the journey of how they came to be. Inspiration can take many forms and often leads to playful, compelling or unexpected surprises.

Using oil on canvas, abstract pieces are created using quick gestural strikes of a palette knife to evoke a sense of movement and reveal the subtle underlayers of paint. My collection is accessible as prints in many formats and sizes, and original paintings are also available.
